A date to the ICEBAR

When you live in London you tend not to get involved in visiting all the tourist attractions, mostly because they are all over priced, way too busy and as they are on your doorstep, you think you can go anytime - but you never do.

This past Friday night I took a trip to the ICEBAR. It's based in Heddon Street, which is just off Regent Street. Tickets were just £16 each for a 40-minute session and included gloves, a blue thermal cape to keep you warm and a square glass made out of ice with your choice of drink.

We were ushered into the ICE room on arrival, where everything (apart from the floor obvs) was made from ice and even though the room was kept at minus 5 degrees, it wasn't unbearably cold. They closed the door once your session was in motion and surprisingly they didn't let too many people in at once, so you actually had some space to move around.

40minutes was the perfect amount of time to spend in the bar, as any longer and I think the novelty would have started to wear off.

We were told that everything inside is made out of crystal clear ice from Sweden and every year the bar is transformed with a new design theme. Pretty cool huh?!?!

Overall I was a happy girl and thought the experience was really fun! I would definitely recommend  visiting the ICEBAR if you are visiting London for the first time, or just for a bit of fun!

Much love,
